One of the most sought-after freelance trumpeters in the San Francisco area for many years, Carole Klein holds music degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, and Stanford University.   Ms. Klein has performed Concertos with several California orchestras, and has appeared as Principal Trumpeter with Chicago's "Basically Bach," a group that specializes in early instruments.  Ms. Klein also served as Principal Trumpeter of the Carmel Bach Festival for six years.    Her Principal Trumpet work included the Marin Symphony, the Mendocino Music Festival, West Edge Opera and Festival Opera to name but a few.

 More recently, Carole has leaned towards Personnel Managing Orchestras, working as Personnel Manager/Contractor of the West Edge Opera, Festival Opera, the Fremont Symphony, the Mendocino Music Festival, and the Oakland Symphony.

 She has served on the Board of Directors of the Marin Symphony and the Musician’s Union Local 6.e
